In 2006 Law Group «Argument» became information partner of the students’ team of the International Institute of Labour & Social Relations (Minsk, Republic of Belarus) which participated in the Phillip Jessop International Law Contest.
In 2008 teams from already 18 countries participated in the «Youth for Peace» contest: Belarus, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Romania, Serbia, Ukraine, Moldova, the Russian Federation, Armenia, Tajikistan, Estonia, Brazil, Macedonia and others. The organizational committee of the contest was headed by Law Group «Argument» partner Andrey L. Kozik. Officials from Ministry of Justice of Belarus, UN and UNICEF representation offices also took part in the work of the Contest-2008. Attorney-general of the Republic of Belarus Grigory A. Vasilevich sent a complimentary address to the organizational committee of the contest. In May, 2009, IVth International Law Contest «Youth for Peace» took place in Minsk and Law Group «Argument» became the General partner of it. Presently, this Contest is considered to be one of three major international law contests in Europe and is the biggest humanitarian law contest in Eastern Europe. Representatives of leading law institutions from 15 countries of the world came to Minsk to take part in it. |

In 2006 Law Group «Argument» was one of the organizers in the Republic of Belarus of the International law students' Contest «Youth for peace» and became its General partner. Main purpose of the above contest was to actively involve young people in political and cultural life of the society and to propagate knowledge of International Humanitarian Law. Law students from Belarus, Ukraine (Kiev), the Russian Federation (Moscow, St. Petersburg) took part in it.
This contest was first organized in 1959 by International Law Students’ Association (ILSA), a non-profit organization with headquarters in Washington, USA, and is presently held in 80 countries. The contest was named after Phillip Jessop, a UN International Court of Justice judge (1961 – 70). This is one of the biggest and most prestigious events in international law. More than 1500 students from 300 law institutions take part in it every year. The contest is a competition of law students which takes place in the form of International Court of Justice proceedings.
