On November 15, 2011 the senior partner of Law Group "Argument" Denis Aleinikov attended the first meeting of the readers club of "Journal of the Supreme Economic Court" organized by the governing body of the Supreme Economic Court and the journal's editors.

In the framework of the meeting the representatives of the Supreme Economic Court and the leading law firms discussed the possible relevant topics for future publications, for roundtables and workshops for subscribers from the perspective of a practitioner, and possibility of greater involvement of the legal community in the discussion on legal issues within the competence of economic courts through the Journal of the Supreme Economic Court and the Internet portal of the economic courts as discussion platforms.

On November 14, 2011 the lawyers of Law Group "Argument" took part in the networking and B2B matchmaking event for the delegation of business circles of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region (China).

The event was held by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Office of the Commercial Counsellor of the People's Republic of China in Belarus.

On 5 November 2011 the senior associate of Law Group "Argument" Dmitry Smirnov gave a TV interview to the Metropolitan Television.

He commented on some features of the practice of legal prosecution for tax evasion in some foreign countries for the journalists of the program "Week".

On 9 November 2011 the lawyers of Law Group “Argument” participated in the business forum “Belarus-Slovakia”.

The meeting was held in the framework of the 10th session of Belarusian-Slovak Joint Commission for Trade, Economic and Technology Cooperation under the aegis of Belarus Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

In the framework of the meeting the networking and B2B matchmaking with the participation of Belarusian and Slovak companies took place.
The Slovak delegation was headed by the Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic, Director General for Trade and Consumer Protection of the Ministry of Economy of Slovakia, Chairman of the Slovak part of the Commission.

On 14 November 2011partner of Law Group “Argument” Dmitry Matveyev will take part in the meeting of the Republican Council of Business Community in the form of round table on the topic “Economic and Political Aspects of Property Rights Protection of Bona Fide Purchasers and Investors in the Republic of Belarus in light of the Directive of the President of the Republic of Belarus of 31 December 2010 #4”.

The event is held under the aegis of the Executive Committee of the CIS, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus and other concerned ministries and agencies.

On October 12, 2011 the senior partner of Law Group “Argument” Denis Aleinikov participated in the presentation of the auction on the sale of the State share in the statutory capital of the mobile network operator JLLC “Mobile TeleSystems” (MTS) held by the State Property Committee of the Republic of Belarus in cooperation with RUP “Beltelecom”.

The aim of the presentation was to demonstrate the capacities and potential of MTS to potential buyers.
The presentation was a good possibility for preliminary talks.
More than 50 companies from Russia, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East received the invitations to participate in the auction.

Senior partner of Law Group "Argument" Denis Aleinikov took part in the broadcast of the Internet portal TUT.BY "Invitation to the Execution" from the cycle of the programmes "No Answers" dedicated to death penalty.

During the broadcast the ethical, moral, and economic aspects of death penalty were highlighted. The participants of the programme discussed and studied public opinion poll on 11 thousand respondents, raised issues on the necessity of death penalty in Belarus and the willingness of society to maintain this punitive measure, also discussed the experience and the statistics of the death penalty in Europe. Other participants of the programme were Tatiana Mishatkina (Ph.D., Professor of the Department of Philosophy of International Sakharov Environmental University, the famous author and editor of books on ethics, regional UNESCO expert on ethics) and Andrei Shubaderov (head of the military information agency "Vayar", expert of the Ministry of Defence in the field of the design and launch of advanced information projects).

On September 30, 2011 the senior partner of Law Group "Argument" Denis Aleinikov took part in the conference "Undervalued and Distressed Assets. Strategy of Acquisition, Management and Sale" which was held by the newspaper "Vedomosti", Moscow.
