Start-up business

1. Consulting of investors on opening of representation offices or establishing business organizations in the Republic of Belarus:

Selection of optimal organizational and legal form of the company;
Selection of place for incorporation of the company (taking into account tax remissions for certain activities in various low-tax areas of the country).

2. Individual working out of constituent documents of the organizations to be established, including corporate management structure considering specific features of the Client.

3. Legal support at the stage of incorporation of the company in a registering body and after registration (registering by competent authorities and organizations).

4. Working out of documents for issue of corporate securities.

5. Working out of corporate financing structure taking into account tax and currency regulations concerning investments.

6. Handling of relations with personnel:

support during employment of foreign citizens;
development of labor agreements, contracts, provisions of commercial classified information, individual agreements on non-disclosure of information representing classified data, provisions of awarding bonuses to personnel and other documents.

7. Consulting on observance of regulatory requirements to the activities carried out by the Client on the territory of the country.

8. Development of reorganization and structuring schemes of the company.

"Corporate law" events

In 2007 International Financial Corporation prepared an analytical compilation on corporate law in the Republic of Belarus «Registration and Liquidation of Commercial Organizations» which included materials on corporate law and samples of constituent documents, prepared and provided by Law Group «Argument».

In July, 2008, Prime-Tass economic agency together with Law Group «Argument» published an informational and analytical bulletin on the second stage of privatization – «Privatization in Belarus. 2008 – 2010» which was first such issue in the country.

In June, 2009, one of the leading law firm in the Czech Republic PRK Partners and Law Group «Argument» organized in Prague a subject conference «Privatization in the Republic of Belarus» to provide Czech business circles with information on the objects and methods of privatization in Belarus. The conference was organized with the help of Belarusian Embassy in the Czech Republic. A number of officials took part in the conference including Mr. Vasiliy Markovich, Belarusian ambassador to the Czech Republic, Ms. Natalia Zhernosek, head of the State Property Fund, Mr. Alexander Galperin, Director of Department of Securities and Stock Markets of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Belarus and others. Senior partner of Law Group «Argument» Denis Aleinikov gave a report «Methods of Privatization in the Republic of Belarus».
